What Type Of Grease Trap Repairs Do You Need?

At Anytime Septic Solutions, Inc., we are standing by to solve your grease trap problems so that your commercial kitchen can operates smoothly and comply with health regulations. Here are the most common grease trap repairs we are asked to complete:

Grease Trap Clog Removal: When FOG (fat oil and grease) enters a plumbing line it is usually in hot, liquid form.  As it cools, it solidifies, and then collects and builds-up with the piping and eventually clogs the system. We thoroughly clean and remove these clogs to restore proper flow and prevent these inconvenient backups that disrupt your kitchen operations.

Grease Trap Part Replacement: Grease traps have several components and they can eventually wear out or become damaged.  This would include gaskets, seals, and screens. We replace worn or damaged components to ensure the grease trap functions correctly.

Grease Trap Pumping: Regular grease trap pumping is critical maintenance that removes accumulated grease and solids from your grease trap.  A lack of regular pumping leads to overflows and off-putting odors. We can schedule your grease trap pumping at regular intervals to keep your grease trap clean.

Leak Repairs: Corrosion, physical damage, or degraded seals, can all cause leaks to occur.  This  leads to foul odors, and unsanitary conditions in your kitchen. We can quickly find and repair these leaks quickly.  We can replace faulty seals or damaged sections of the grease trap.

Trap Overhaul: Older or neglected grease traps may require a complete overhaul to bring them back to proper operation. We provide comprehensive grease trap overhaul services, including cleaning, component replacement, and structural repairs.

Maintenance and Inspection: Regular maintenance and inspection can help identify potential problems before they become serious. We offer routine grease trap maintenance and inspection services to keep your grease trap in excellent working condition.

Do You Have Questions About Grease Trap Repairs?

Common signs include slow drainage, foul odors, frequent backups, visible grease buildup around the trap, and leaks or water pooling around the grease trap area. If you notice any of these issues, it's important to contact a professional for an inspection and necessary repairs.

Grease traps should typically be serviced every 1 to 3 months, depending on the volume of grease your kitchen produces. Regular maintenance, including pumping and cleaning, helps prevent clogs and other issues that can lead to more serious repairs.

The time required for repairs depends on the complexity of the issue. Simple repairs, such as replacing a gasket, may take only a few hours, while more extensive repairs, like fixing structural damage or replacing components, could take a day or more. Your service provider can give you a more accurate estimate based on the specific repairs needed.

To maintain your grease trap between pumpings, avoid pouring grease down the drain, scrape food waste into the trash, and use sink strainers to catch solids. Regularly inspect the trap for signs of buildup and schedule timely maintenance.

The cost for grease trap repairs varies based on the nature of the problem. Minor repairs, such as replacing gaskets or seals, can cost between $100 to $500. More extensive repairs, like fixing structural damage or major clogs, can range from $500 to $2,000 or more. Regular maintenance can help avoid these higher costs.

If you notice your grease trap is leaking, it’s crucial to contact a professional immediately. Leaks can cause foul odors and unsanitary conditions. A professional can identify the source of the leak and perform the necessary repairs to prevent further damage and health risks.

Regular maintenance is key to preventing future problems. Schedule routine pumping and cleaning, avoid pouring grease and solid waste down the drains, and use sink strainers to catch food particles. Additionally, train your staff on proper grease disposal practices.

Yes, regular maintenance can significantly extend the lifespan of your grease trap. Routine inspections, cleaning, and timely repairs help prevent major issues from developing and ensure your grease trap operates efficiently for many years.

I can’t say enough about Anytime Septic Solutions Inc! I woke up to a huge mess in my bathroom and kitchen this morning that didn’t seem to end! I have only been in this home for less than 6 months so this was absolutely shocking to me. I’m a renter so I contacted my Landlord who said they couldn’t get anyone out until THE NEXT DAY 2 PM! That would be over 24 hours with little to no access to running water. I posted a Facebook cry for help and had 2 comments recommending this company so I contacted them immediately! Megan answered my call and assured me someone could be out there by 6 pm TODAY! I was relieved! I gave my landlord their contact and just like she said, the truck rolled into rescue. The two men worked TEDIOUSLY until they knew we wouldn’t have this problem again and didn’t leave until it was completely fixed. I have seriously never been happier to leave a review. I will recommend Anytime Septic literally any chance I get. THANK YOU!🩶

So I live in rural Lake Wales and after years of flushing (non) flushable wipes started having some sewage pooling in the yard right above the septic tank. Called Anytime Septic out of Lakeland and they pumped the tank and told me it was a drain field issue and as soon as the tank refilled it would back up again because it wasn't draining properly. My options were either replace drain field completely 11,000, Or" water jet clean" the lines which is around 4,000. The septic system is 30 years old but I chose to jet the lines and it worked..no more pooling. Larry and Anytime Septic know what they're doing, look no further. Honest people.
