Quick, Clean, & Reliable Grease Trap Pumping Services In Lakeland Florida
Grease traps or “grease interceptors” are devices installed in the plumbing within a commercial food services business to keep grease, fat, and oil out of the municipal plumbing system. Grease traps control the flow of wastewater to allow the fats, oils and grease to float to the top and the solids to settle to the bottom. This simple system is very effective at removing FOG (fats, oils and grease) before they can reach the city sewer system.
There are typically two reasons why you might need grease trap pumping.

Plumbing Fixtures Required To Be Connected To Grease Traps Are:
- Sinks used for washing pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and kitchen utensils, including pre-rinse sinks.
- Self-cleaning exhaust hoods installed over commercial cooking equipment.
- Commercial cooking equipment, such as tilt kettles, designed to discharge to a sewer or drain.
- Any fixtures that discharge wastewater that contains FOG (fats, oils or grease).
The size of your establishment, the size of your grease interceptor and the amount of FOG contaminated waste water you send down the drain will determine the frequency of your required pump outs. Waiting too long could result in clogs, foul odors, fines and other maintenance issues, so it’s recommended that busy facilities have their grease interceptors pumped out and rinsed every 1-3 months. Your specific situation may vary.

3. Cafeterias: This includes cafeterias in various settings such as schools and universities, hospitals, corporate office buildings, and government facilities. These places often serve a high volume of meals, which leads to substantial grease waste that needs to be pumped out of the traps regularly.
4. Industrial Facilities: Certain industrial facilities, especially those involved in food processing, will utilize grease traps. This includes meat processing plants, canned food factories, and other food processing related industries.
5. Bakeries and Patisseries: These establishments generate fats and oils during the baking and food preparation process. They need grease traps to prevent these substances from entering the sewage system.
6. Supermarkets and Grocery Stores: Large supermarkets have delis, bakeries, and a butcher shop that create grease waste. Grease traps are necessary to ensure this waste doesn't clog the wastewater system. We offer convenient grease trap pumping for grocery stores.
7. Event and Conference Centers: Large venues that cater to events, such as weddings, conferences, and conventions, often have sizable kitchen facilities that require the use of grease traps.
8. Mobile Food Vendors: Food trucks and mobile caterers often have grease traps as part of their wastewater management system and we can offer convenient grease trap pumping for you.
There are thousands of businesses in Central Florida that identify as food services operations that discharge wastewater containing F.O.G (fat, oil and grease). These facilities must install and maintain a grease trap/interceptor in accordance with local codes. If you own a busy restaurant or commercial food services facility you already know the importance of having your grease traps or grease interceptors pumped out regularly.
If you need to have your grease trap pumped please call (863) 397-0720 or fill out our online contact form and we will get back to you promptly to schedule a time to provide services.
Preparing Your Grease Trap For Pumping
Preparing for our grease trap pumping service can ensure that the job is completed quickly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to your business. Here are a few steps you can take to help make the process smoother:
1. Clear The Area: Make sure the area around the grease trap is clear of any obstructions. This includes removing any equipment, supplies, or debris that might be in the way. This will allow our technician easy and safe access to the grease trap.
2. Drain Cleaning: If possible, avoid using sinks and dishwashers that drain into the trap a few hours before the service. This allows the water and grease to settle, making the pumping process more effective.
3. Schedule During Off-Peak Hours: If possible, schedule the grease trap pumping service for when your kitchen is not busy. This could be early in the morning or during a typically slower business period. This reduces disruption to your business and allows our technician to work more efficiently. We are happy to schedule grease trap pumping on dates and times that work best for your business.
4. Maintenance Records: Keep maintenance and service records handy. This can provide our technician with useful information about the condition and maintenance history of the trap. If we have serviced your grease trap before we will have this information already and we keep detailed records for the businesses we provide grease trap pumping for.
5. Communicate Any Concerns: If you've noticed any issues or concerns with the grease trap, such as strange smells, slow drainage, or backups, let us know in advance. This way we can be prepared to address these issues during our visit.
6. Staff Awareness: Ensure your staff is aware of the scheduled service and know their roles. If they're needed to assist in any way, such as guiding our technician to the grease trap, they should be prepared.
7. Ensure Easy Truck Access: Many of the grease traps we service require getting our truck close to the grease traps and this might mean vehicles will need to be moved in order to give our truck clear and easy access.
Taking these steps can help ensure that your grease trap pumping service goes smoothly. As always, Anytime Septic Solutions is here to assist with any questions or concerns you may have about preparing for your grease trap pumping service.
If you need to have your grease trap pumped please call (863) 397-0720 or fill out our online contact form and we will get back to you promptly to schedule a time to provide services.

Do You Have Questions About Grease Trap Pumping?
The frequency of grease trap pumping depends on the size of your trap and the volume of grease your business produces. Generally, it is recommended to pump grease traps every 1 to 3 months. High-volume establishments may need more frequent service. After pumping your grease trap and inspecting it, we can give you a pumping interval to keep your system operating smoothly.
Signs that your grease trap needs pumping include slow drainage, foul odors, grease backups in sinks or dishwashers, and visible grease accumulation around the trap.
Neglecting regular pumping can lead to blockages, plumbing overflows, foul odors, and potential fines for non-compliance with health regulations. It can also cause significant damage to your plumbing system, leading to expensive repairs.
To maintain your grease trap between pumpings, avoid pouring grease down the drain, scrape food waste into the trash, and use sink strainers to catch solids. Regularly inspect the trap for signs of buildup and schedule timely maintenance.
If you need grease trap pumping or grease trap repairs, we're the one call that can do it all!

TESTIMONIALS
I can’t say enough about Anytime Septic Solutions Inc! I woke up to a huge mess in my bathroom and kitchen this morning that didn’t seem to end! I have only been in this home for less than 6 months so this was absolutely shocking to me. I’m a renter so I contacted my Landlord who said they couldn’t get anyone out until THE NEXT DAY 2 PM! That would be over 24 hours with little to no access to running water. I posted a Facebook cry for help and had 2 comments recommending this company so I contacted them immediately! Megan answered my call and assured me someone could be out there by 6 pm TODAY! I was relieved! I gave my landlord their contact and just like she said, the truck rolled into rescue. The two men worked TEDIOUSLY until they knew we wouldn’t have this problem again and didn’t leave until it was completely fixed. I have seriously never been happier to leave a review. I will recommend Anytime Septic literally any chance I get. THANK YOU!🩶
Gave them a call about my septic tank malfunctioning, they came out the next day, very professional, I work nights so I slept through the whole time they fixed my problem, when they were done they sent me pictures of all the work that had been done! I would fully recommend these guys ! super professional and fast emergency service! Thank you 💪
So I live in rural Lake Wales and after years of flushing (non) flushable wipes started having some sewage pooling in the yard right above the septic tank. Called Anytime Septic out of Lakeland and they pumped the tank and told me it was a drain field issue and as soon as the tank refilled it would back up again because it wasn't draining properly. My options were either replace drain field completely 11,000, Or" water jet clean" the lines which is around 4,000. The septic system is 30 years old but I chose to jet the lines and it worked..no more pooling. Larry and Anytime Septic know what they're doing, look no further. Honest people.
